Poor boy gonna be the scapegoat for the entire "crypto-con" herd, int he?
What kind of heinous stuff is going on in that market now, with this kind of press cover for distraction?
- kirubakaran 3y agoPoor boy? More like poster boy
- filoleg 3y agoDon’t worry, the other “poor boys” are getting prosecuted for their crypto cons by SEC too[0][1][2]. While SEC might not be the fastest, they methodically go through all of those and take them down (similarly to IRS). I only listed 3 examples, but one can keep going on and on. The other fraudsters also just don’t tend to have nearly as much public presence or stadiums named after their cons (and neither do they behave nearly as moronic and self-confident as SBF after getting a wind of prosecution getting on their case), so it is understandable that the trial for SBF would be way more in the public eye as well. 0. https://www.sec.gov/news/press-release/2023-229 https://www.sec.gov/news/press-release/2023-229 1. https://www.sec.gov/news/press-release/2023-59 https://www.sec.gov/news/press-release/2023-59 2. https://www.sec.gov/news/press-release/2023-101 https://www.sec.gov/news/press-release/2023-101
- sdfghswe 3y agoHow can you call him poor boy? He got people to hand him $8bn, and then did all kinds of illegal stuff with it, including spending it.
- h2odragon 3y agoIn the sarcastic sense. I've started referring to him as "Crypto Jesus" other places. He's gonna be the poster boy that redeems the sins of the industry and makes it acceptable to the public again. Just guessing at the future narrative.
- sdfghswe 3y agoI don't think anything's going to be redeemed, because I don't think crypto's problem is one of image.
