One man's search for the greatest sandwich
- jjgreen 3y agoThe name "sandwich" is used in French, (pronounced roughly "sonweech") but one rarely meets a native speaker who knows the origin of the word (i.e., "invented" by the Earl of Sandwich). When you tell them, they are always appalled. Endearing.
