Every single Catholic I know is religiously motivated by fear, and I know literally hundreds. And the older they get, the worse it gets, especially after they lose a parent. All trying to buy that time away from hell and purgatory and flooding the living crap out of my social media feeds with nonsensical prayers to saints and statues. And they are utterly hypocritical with their proselytizing too. They want to be free to spam that nonsense but post something critical or contradictory and they lose their fucking minds.
