I checked with incognito - HN sets 0 cookies. When logged in I do get 4 cookies - user (technical) - _ga (Google analytics? Source doesn't include any) - ajs_anonymous_id (Dunno. Searching around brings up atlassian jira cookie...) - ph_phc_.................._posthog (PostHog?) Anyways, the site is superlean and hn.js is such a short script. I think other 3 could be related to parent site. user cookie only scoped to news.
