No, certain classes of products don't have to be given away for free. But you can't take tracking as payment. You can still show ads without tracking, or only have paid users.
- lisper 3y agoThen tracking info has to be given away for free. Your info is valuable, but you aren't allowed to trade it for something else of value, you are only allowed to "voluntarily" give it away for free. That is even more deeply wrong IMHO.
