More CO2 also correlates with population which is beginning to level off (if world war doesn't cause it to drop). Population decrease won't stop global warming but global warming will lower population quicker, which will likely then be reciprocal. Sadly it'll likely be the poorest that bear the brunt of it (high price food, expensive land to live on, poor living conditions due to heat), but hopefully we'll innovate more extreme weather resistant crops, ways to remove CO2, plant more trees etc.
