Cinder block may be better for later flexibility than poured concrete:

- samtho 3y agoMost of the time, rebar and concrete is placed and poured in the vertical column created by laying the block effectively turning into a vertical slab. It’s so much easier to build a wood-frame dummy wall on the inside to house utilities.
