I've been on the other side of that interview, 2-3 years out of univeristy and asked to interview someone with 10-15 years experience, it was pretty awful. Before that I just interviewed either students (interns) or graduates and asked them basic coding questions. There's a pretty high chance that the young women was just as unhappy about the situation as you were.
