My Data-Backed Battle and Defeat of Hypertension
- NKosmatos 3y agoInteresting, well written and full of data and plots clearly showing the improvement. One important thing to remember, medication works and we should trust doctors and science.
- bzmrgonz 3y agoAny chance you may have come across something that disolves/breaks-up fibrin? In the event you went down to the granular level in your analysis and strategy.
- RecycledEle 3y agoI wonder how many people know how to take their blood pressure? You should take it after sitting quietly and resting for about 15 minutes, or it will read too high. You should find a blood pressure meter and matching cuff (they must match!) where the cuff is the right size for your arm. Many people use a cuff that is not the right size. Measure the circumference of your upper arm / bicept and buy a blood pressure machine to match. The orientation of the blood pressure cuff matters.
- RecycledEle 3y agoThere are so many cool gadgets to take your vitals. Thermometers, cloth tape measures, pulse oximeters, blood pressure meters, spirometers, scales, EKGs, sleep study watches, glucometers, continuous glucose meters, many more blood tests, and many more urine tests. Most people who do check their vitals at home never bother to compare their results to what the doctor gets. Their results are not repeatable, so their results are useless. I've even had to but an assistant at my PCP's office for using the wrong blood pressure cuff.
