Totally agree! I also kinda hate how suggestion algorithms are not customizable at all, and all your actions are input to them. It adds a mental burden when choosing a song: choosing a song not just affects what I listen now, but what I will get suggested in the future. A simple switch "don't feed my actions to algorithm" would have solved that, but of course the company doesn't want that. It wants all the data it can get.
