Try OsmAnd.
Frustrating user experience, but once you make peace with it (and learn how to use), it becomes the best travel map app.
- offline
- can filter "attractions" around you
- can put Wikipedia articles on the map
- integrates with wikivoyage
- extra: you can edit OSM direct from the app.
They call it a "Swiss army knife of map apps", and I agree. Except for the UX. That's infamously annoying (especially rendering)
