I actually found non MSM more likely to link to the original source. That is why I prefer new media over old. As for the issue of news sites not citing their sources, I wonder why some form of copyright can't be used. I know some dictionaries add made up words to see if another dictionary copies them. I wonder if news sites could add some small false minor details to see who copies from them without citing them. Then they could sue for copyright infringement.
