I thought the encryption restriction was only for analog radio, not digital?
- unethical_ban 3y agoNo. You can encode data digitally, per a specification, but you can't encode it.
- genmud 3y agoSo, why wouldn’t you be able to encrypt the data you send before digital encoding?

- unethical_ban 3y agoI meant you can't encrypt it. And the other person is correct. It's simply against the rules and the spirit of ham radio.
