Introduce Tax to Students Early
- starbase 3y agoCould be done a lot earlier than the author's proposal of undergrad/law school. Start in elementary school. Give each student $10/week. But before you hand them the money, each classroom elects a mayor who decides how to tax the class and how to spend the money they collect. Each grade elects a governor who can tax the entire grade. And the school elects a president who can tax every student in the school. Hold elections every month and let the students figure out the rest. It would be absolutely wild.
