Having worked with Sales and Marketing teams in various ways over the decades, I have found that they are focused on making something engineering useful into uselessly pretty and engineeringly dysfunctional.
They seem to have in their brain-pans the idea that people really like pretty things over actually functional things, which might be true of the general populous.
- PaulHoule 3y agoThe marketing team where I work is great, they take the knowledge of our data team and the accomplishments of our IT team and turn it into stories that help build up our image and helps the sales team do their work.
