- pseingatl 3y agoUsage will soar when it becomes a bank. https://www.theverge.com/2023/10/26/23934216/x-twitter-bank-elon-musk-2024 https://www.theverge.com/2023/10/26/23934216/x-twitter-bank-...
- giuliomagnifico 3y agoI hope nobody will use it when (and if) X will become a WeChat.
- RandomWorker 3y agoI’m still using it. It was a rough start but recently I’ve seen some really amazing treads and the crew of people I follow are still there. I think it’s still a great social media better than Facebook feed, and more specific and current on the topics I enjoy reading about than instagram or LinkedIn.
- chownie 3y agoThis kind of tracks. If you're following niche posters nothing has massively changed, the experience there is the same was it was pre-musk. If you're looking at the trending pages or users with very large (>1m followers) the replies are intolerably low quality. It feels as if the blue-badge-first reply sorting prioritises spam bots and inane responses, then quality replies are stuck right underneath the very least liked blue badged users. Given the vast majority of viewers are here to either see trends or to follow very popular users, they're seeing this degraded experience most of the time. I'd decrease my usage of the site too, were I in that bucket.
