i haven't used windows in a really long time,but i believe gitbash is still a thing and makes things easy to use. But git just crushes everything else in capab

i haven't used windows in a really long time,but i believe gitbash is still a thing and makes things easy to use. But git just crushes everything else in capabilities. Hg is decent and maybe more appealing to windows folks, but it's branching model just isn't as nice. (as least as i remember it -- could have changed over the years).
