Finding a Job in Tech Is Almost Becoming Impossible
- phil-martin 3y agoIt feels the article was light on details and data, but the gist I got from it was that it is now harder to secure a very high paying job if you are at an early stage in your career? In Australia the number of job ads seem to be as high as ever, but advertised salaries (when they do advertise them) are perhaps a fraction lower. What is it like for people in other regions?
- oldbbsnickname 3y agoRecord profits. Record layoffs. It's all about wage suppression by megacorps following the management consultant playbook. The only path to workers seeing a fraction of their real contributions is by having a significant fraction of equity shares with fair precedence.
