Why isn't Gnudb.org database free to download?
The Gnudb database used to be freedb and that used to be cddb. The entries are all user submitted. So why is there no download link for the database?
- KomoD 3y agoYou could just ask them: info@gnudb.org
- devonnull 3y agoUnless the people behind Gnudb are active here (and actually have read this post), I'm not sure you'll get an answer. I'd say try getting in touch with them, but there's no contact information on the website.

Other than the "gnu" in its name, there is nothing that indicates that this service has anything to do with free/open source ideals.
