I'm 38 and I agree, but I don't think it's that attitudes are changing. I think writing has just been on a general slow downhill slide for a long time, and badly written sexuality just naturally stands out more (it's more "cringey"). Part of bad writing is the mis-use or over-use of sex - if the cause of the trend is an increase in bad writing, then it doesn't mean we intrinsically dislike sex scenes now more than before.
