I would be very afraid of automatic blocking of our entire infrastructure if some developer gets his Google account banned. No one (human) to provide support either, just automated responses. Then the risk of some product being discontinued on Google is very real. The article just sidesteps it in the most unsatisfactory way, with a pinky promise that it won't happen. So the technology itself is not bad, but Google's customer management is so terrible that I would never risk a company's life on it.
