The linked page completely omits that you’re not simply saving money by forgoing technical support; expert accounts are also Single Region instead of auto-replicated. You don’t find out about that detail until you visit the pricing page. Presumably that’s what actually accounts for the reduced price.
- graemep 3y agoIt is is lot cheaper than single region with technical support. There are four pricing levels - single region and auto replicated to second region, each of which can be with or without support. It is not much of a saving per GB, but it has a much lower minimum (200GB rather than 800GB). What I cannot see is whether it allows sub accounts which are (or used to be) free with the with service option.
