Right now, I'm just going by feeling. There are some cases where it's not clear cut (e.g, should /r/mechanicalKeyboards go to style.land or hardware.watch?) but in most cases the mapping can be done by finding the "largest" subreddit in a topic and then checking their own list of related subs.
