You don't need a well educated population to sustain democracy, you need however an active population that knows that democracy is more than just voting, it's joining a political party, lobbying, working to maintain and expand institutions.
And an honest desire to see the country prosper.
- vmfunction 3y agoOk let me reword that, a well informed population with a actual indepdant media (news paper, tv, radios, magazines) that is NOT owned by a handful of people just a talking piece for one party or another.
