- _8j50 3y agoI am fully expecting Halo style orbital drop shock troopers (ODST), basically like paragliders but special forces stationed in space and who jump from an orbital spacecraft in battle mech suits, directly into enemy territory. The future of the battlefield will not be slaughterbots but humans in battle suits, similar to exoskeletons but that give the operator ability to guide or participate in decision loop of accompanying killer bots/drones. One trooper would be the equivalent of an infantry platoon and can be deployed from space or extreme depths of the ocean (subs). Of course I am merely speculating.
- nocoiner 3y agoI like it, very reminiscent of retro SDI (Reagan’s “Star Wars”) concept art.
