No one seems to be talking about the elephant in the tent, e.g. that SiFive's IP/implementations aren't very good in terms of performance or even price/performance. There's a small audience (mostly in this thread :) who'll buy any RISC-V for the sake of novelty, but the vast majority requires at least parity with commonly available ARM (primary competition) and SiFive isn't it.
