We're just now really getting studies propagating into medical knowledge of a lot of this. I have covid-related tinnitus and despite the huge uptick in people reporting these symptoms post infection it took until this year to find a doctor that had specific interest in the subject. Heart damage has been a known likely problem for a while, hopefully we're on the cusp of better diagnosis and treatment protocols.
