is this really that strange for a company this size to consider PR aspects of official email from C-level execs when it will surely leak?
- Isofarro 15y agoNot strange, just depressing that employees are just fungible resources who don't really require a clear explanation for the current situation; and how this layoff is any different to the previous 5 rounds in the last 4 years. Surely the key thing about these types of emails is to rebuild trust/solidarity in retained employees or bolster confidence that this isn't just another numbers and spreadsheet game, and that this time they have a clear vision, a strategy and a viable tactical plan on how to deliver that.
