There is no lobby for people in this situation. Having a disabled child and at the same time needing to care for my mom brought me down to zero almost. I am lucky to not live in the US, otherwise I don't know where/if I would be now. And "luckily" my mom died Beginning 2020 so she did not have to live through the soul crushing isolation. Love your parents while you can, it's shorter than you think.
