I use NodeRed. It is really good, but it has also a steep learning curve - not much different to a programming language. What I like is the good overview. So I use it as a good overview for automatic tasks. It is also good for smart home things. But debugging is not so easy and some parts are surprisingly hard, like a custom dashboard.
