Additionally, in China one can ride trains without the fear of being physically harmed by other passengers. In many cities in the US, taking public transportation is a risk to your life.
- MaxHoppersGhost 3y agoThere are certainly instances of this happening but this is mostly overblown by the media. The US is a huge country with millions taking public transit safely everyday. I know more people who have been robbed on transit (via knife) in Europe than in the US. There are a lot of news articles about stabbings on trains in Europe as well.
