>I get a lot of 3rd party recruiters that seem to follow a similar: the recruiters are all people with south Asian names, calling from US numbers (I'm in Canada), with a vague job description, they want to hire me hourly, and they are cagey about the company that they are hiring me for. They ask for my CV, my work status, and what "project" I was on. I've heard of scams where fake recruiters use real peoples' names and résumés to get hired at remote jobs, then substitute in their own Indian or other non-American worker.
