Ask HN: Can you suggest great websites/blogs about Antarctica, such as brr.fyi?
- NKosmatos 3y agoIt’s been some time since the last post from brr.fyi (Aug 20th) and I’ve been wondering what happened. Unfortunately I don’t have a great blog to share, besides the obvious: https://www.southpolestation.com https://www.southpolestation.com The style and writing of brr.fyi is captivating and I’m looking forward for new posts. I think that big scientific expeditions and research organizations should have a (paid) position for someone writing updates in an easy to read style. I’d love to read blogs about the daily life and technology of things like: big telescopes, Deep Space Network, NASA/ESA missions, North Pole icebreakers, CERN experiments... Heck, I’d even pay a small subscription fee for frequent blogging like this :-)
