Dangerous to continue to give power to the government. They literally wait for an emergency, that attempt to convince you that the only way you'll be safe is if you give up another freedom.

Some researchers think that it may have accidentally been released in a medical research lab, and that lab may be one that had received research funding from the US. (Which was withdrawn after their carelessness was revealed.) But there's also significant evidence that it passed from animal to human in the wild, with no further intervention. I have seen zero credible evidence that it was designed as a bioweapon, under US or any other authority.
- longitudinal93 3y agoJust because it may have come out of a lab doesn't mean it was created as a bio-weapon. It could have been genuine scientific curiosity or gain of function research meant to give us a leg up on a potential pandemic.
