Is this the first generation that has grown up with mass surveillance as a given? Or, at least, mass surveillance not explicitly associated with an authoritarian regime? One imagines there are psychological effects we haven't yet considered.
- jessenaser 3y agoThe funny thing is it is one thing to trust Apple with your location on Find My Friends, but now people willingly give their location to a company that will obviously sell that data and give it to as many people who want it. There obviously is a way to make apps without this 3rd party surveillance of GPS, but who is going to make it? :(
