Don’t you need hundreds of thousands of dollars to become an entrepreneur? Or millions? I mean buying a place to do business alone is crazy, real estate is so expensive. I would start with that if I was wondering why people aren’t starting businesses. Is the money there? You can’t educate yourself into three hundred thousand dollars. Seems like the first obvious place to look.

- randomdata 3y agoBDC from the article is a bank – owned by the government of Canada that exclusively lends to entrepreneurs. They have the money needed for someone to become an entrepreneur. What is missing is people with a vision to use that money. The idea they are presenting, right or wrong[1], is that educating yourself can produce the missing vision. [1] Probably wrong as Canada is considered, according to the OECD, the most educated nation in the world.
