Can the public sector add net jobs, or were they cancelled by losses of other jobs due to the new tax burden?
- faeriechangling 3y agoI'd say this is possible at least in principle given that communist countries had pretty high levels of employment with growing populations with pretty minimal inputs from the private sector for much of that time. If you're willing to lower your standards for what constitutes a "job" sufficiently the public sector can be a job creation machine.
