Bottle came first, flask was a play on the name.
- bumblebeast 3y agoFlask was a joke it really got out of hand
- smitty1e 3y agoFlask is a high-level wrapper around werkzeug, with some stock components like jinja2 thrown in. Basically the Ikea of web site tools. If that seems a hassle, go Django.
