- thomastjeffery 3y agoDon't get me wrong, it's a wonderful thing, and I'm happy to have it. I've lived a lot of my life on much slower connections, usually 10-20mbit.. Over that same span of time, I've seen my local storage throughout go from ~100mb/sec to ~6000mb/sec. The improvement of internet bandwidth for the average person is moving at a glacial pace. I'm happy to live near the middle of that spectrum; and I'm frustrated to be so close, yet so far away, from the bleeding edge.
