Quitting in protest only tells us Apple has business ties to China. We still don't get the story he wanted to report.
- quantified 3y agoQuitting in protest tells us that Apple's business ties to China are causing Apple to nix the reporting and analysis he wants to do, which would be critical of China in some way. Our experience with John Stewart is that it's likely fair and nuanced. But Apple is concerned about thin skins and rightly so. I hope we can get the story. It won't go onto XTwitter, for the same China reasons. He'll have to use a national, not international, medium.
