- freedomben 3y agoOk, can we walk through what I said so you can point out where I'm blaming the victim or saying that what the victim did makes the cop's behavior ok? > The petty insults throughout the process about him being a "rookie" and the "we beat <your team> last week" did not help him at all. Do you think the petty insults did help the kid? > Of course it's not illegal to be a smartass Does this somehow seem like me defending the arrest? > but pro-tip for people in the future: cops are humans Are cops not human? > if you stoop to personal insults it's not going to make them want to be nice to you. Do you think that personal insults make cops want to be nice to you? (assuming you don't disagree with the earlier part about cops being human).
