People have been working on basically this "Visible Computer" concept for a few decades now, with pretty marginal results. What makes you think a) the time is right now from a a hardware point of view and b) Meta is the one to make it happen.
Neither of those things are obviously true, right?
- jessenaser 3y agoRight. Meta, Apple, any existing company might not even be the one to make that happen. It’s just Zuck’s goal, but I don’t know who will do it. However, if it is technologically possible, someone will build it, and it will probably be the future platform of computing. If you don’t want Meta or Apple to lock down that future ecosystem then I am saying you should build an alternative future before they get there.
