Yeah there’s something wrong with this story. It’s not at all clear that a clogged toilet automatically results in hundreds of thousands of dollars in liability. How long did the water flow through the house before being detected? Was anything done to mitigate it, and so on. Either way why isn’t the claims adjuster handling this. This sort of thing is exactly what insurance companies and attorneys are for. Not sure why this lady thinks social media should have anything to do with this.
