Just to be clear, when people bemoan late stage capitalism it doesn't mean that they also all like and appreciate CCP/Mao/Stalin etc.
One can be anti-capitalist without being pro-authoritarian communism.

Their suggestions, when they exist, are based on a childlike naïveté that can be justified only with near-complete ignorance of both history and human nature. Conflating opposition to capitalism and opposition to fascism is a good example. The sad thing is that you don't have to go very far to the right before you encounter stupidity of comparable magnitude.
