One time my instagram account was suspended for suspicious bot-like activity. submitted all the appeal forms, sent them photos of my drivers license, sent them a photo of my face with a custom handwritten note held next to it (which they literally asked for), but no response. Ended up making a facebook business page and running an ad to get access to FB business support. They were the ones who finally helped me get unbanned. My FB business did get permanently banned, but I only cared about the instagram account anyway :)
