Similar story: I had an old account locked and I wanted to delete it. They asked me security questions about random Facebook friends to verify my identity, and I had no idea who they were. So I sent in my driver's license photo, which was rejected for an unknown reason.. and around and around it went.
I ended up finding a random Facebook corporate email address online and I just kept spamming it in hopes that a human would actually read it and do something about it. To my surprise, it actually worked.
- s3p 3y agoOne time my instagram account was suspended for suspicious bot-like activity. submitted all the appeal forms, sent them photos of my drivers license, sent them a photo of my face with a custom handwritten note held next to it (which they literally asked for), but no response. Ended up making a facebook business page and running an ad to get access to FB business support. They were the ones who finally helped me get unbanned. My FB business did get permanently banned, but I only cared about the instagram account anyway :)
