- sillysaurusx 3y agoI should be the one in the crosshairs, not Eleuther. It’s true that books3 was included in The Pile, but I released books3 before The Pile. I guess I’m lucky, for now, but I feel like dirt. My colleagues have to defend themselves for work that I did.
- biggestdummy 3y agoTIL that books3 includes the text of three of my books. Which I spent thousands of hours (and thousands of dollars) researching and writing. And which were now stolen for other's profits. I don't care about your personal financial ruin or liberty - I trust that you are honest in that you were just hacking away with some sort of misguided "information should be free" ethic. But the companies which raise money (and maybe even make money) on the back of my labor should be sold for parts. I'm pretty upset about this.
