What an absolutely meaningless metric for power generation in one of the largest countries on earth by land area.
- tuatoru 3y agoIndeed: agrivoltaics is under active R&D. Initial results seem to indicate that in dry areas PV can actually increase crop yields while reducing irrigation demand. So in effect it has a negative land requirement in those places.
- rcxdude 3y agoIt's the one stat which makes nuclear look good, so of course it's mentioned as if it has any relevance whatsoever.
