- rmason 3y agoJerry is a friend of mine. I've hung out at his old Detroit office. I was inspired ten or more years ago about his big audacious idea of assembling a truly nationwide parcel map. It was an incredibly long grind. His crew has layered more value with it than I could have even imagined back then. When the little town I had called home for twenty years was devastated by a tornado his crew came in mapping all the damage for the city without its asking for their help or even understanding initially the power this data provided them.
- doggerel 3y agoThis such a great, generous and humble take on producing a huge, nationally beneficial product. I was just reading about Andreesen's bizarro screed. I wish more people were reading this than that. This gives me hope for the future.
