It seems to me there's still a problem at the point of data collection. Not all +1's are equal. This algorithm needs to be paired with another algorithm that weights each plus one according to each user's ability to plus one something that gets a lot of plus ones. I couldn't hope to do the math for something like that, but I'd sure like to talk to someone that could.
